When I tried the link, I found you needed to go into the archives section of the website and then use the key words wax museum to find the picture and the caption.

Thanks for coming to our presentation at WSRA! I hope you took our contact information... for any of those in attendance, we're happy to share our curricular handouts via email. We're also working to get student's permission to post/distribute our iPoetry presentation, too. (While the WSRA didn't have as many handouts posted, you may want to contact presenters directly - generally, that works!) :)

Thanks,
Jen Scott Curwood

I have only had a few chances to continue previewing the media available. I think the in-service time was too short to be practical and the site is too vast to just dive in. I also left thinking that our staff is at so many different levels of learning and using technology that offering this type of in-service to a mixed group was difficult. I hope to create a presentation that fits a future expectation for a unit next semester.

The info. in united streaming was interesting but I'm not sure how to fit it into what I do with my students. The activities I plan are based on IEP goals and given that I only have a half hour of therapy time with each group and do not have student computers ( except for an old G-3 desktop) I am not sure how much I will be able to use United Streaming but I can say that as a parent I am gratified to see the wonderful resources available for students these days! Laura

Thanks Ann. Now that I've had a little time to play with it, I look forward to actually using it. Technology is wonderful ... when it works!

is collborative reading be applied in literature and English subject? Can you elaborate more about colllaborative reading. How can it be essential to the student.
