Teacher may want to just note how many of the above they use in their questions requiring a constructed response. Perhaps the words can be assigned to a grade level to scaffold the student’s understanding and depth of thinking. These are the types of words often found in the standardized test questions. Do our students understand the words and the implications on the answers they write? Food for thought!
